Senator Shaheen Stands Up for Small Business, Brings CREED Act to the Senate Floor
For 504 loans approved during FY16: The one-time guaranty fee that SBA is authorized to charge 504 borrowers will be reduced to zero in FY16. The annual fee is reduced to 0.914 percent (91.4 basis points) of the outstanding balance of the loan.
At a Senate Small Business Committee hearing yesterday, Sen. Shaheen discussed the great work the 504 program already does in energy efficiency and the ways this bill will help expand those opportunities.
